The Assembly Health Committee on Tuesday voted 12-1 to advance AB 1429, (Bains, D-Delano) that would make it much easier for Kaiser patients to get fully reimbursed for out-of pocket mental health expenses.

TUESDAY: Assembly to consider mental health bill helping Kaiser patients who have to pay out-of-pocket for care

The Assembly Health Committee will hear AB 1429, which would require Kaiser to provide full reimbursement for patients paying out-of-pocket for behavioral health services that Kaiser should be providing.
