Our Unity Petition is off to a flying start with well over half of members signing it over the past few days. Add your name to the petition to show Kaiser management – and everybody else – that we still stand together united in our commitment to win a contract that treats us fairly so Kaiser patients can get the behavioral healthcare they need.
We commemorated Day 100 of the strike this week with vigils honoring Kaiser patients. Guests on the picket line this week included Congressman Mark Levin and California Labor Federation President Lorena Gonzalez.
After visiting our picket line on Monday, California State Treasurer continued to support our strike with a strong post on Facebook.
Media this week included:
- A very strong video story from CalMatters
- A story about the 100th day of the strike by KTLA
- A 100th Day story by ABC-10 in San Diego
- A 100th Day story by Univision in San Diego
- A strike update from Capital & Main
