We had a very positive experience visiting Greg Adams’ church on Sunday. Although Adams wasn’t there, our delegation of about 50 striking workers received a warm welcome from parishioners who expressed support for our cause.
We’ll be returning to the same church in Pasadena to attend services and talk to parishioners. Sign up to join.
We are ramping up our activities over the next week, with the following rallies and escalated actions scheduled:
- Anaheim: Kaiser Psychiatry Symposium, Friday, March 21, Sheraton Park Hotel, 1855 S Harbor Blvd. We will maintain a presence outside the symposium from 8am to 2pm and hold a rally at 12pm.
- San Diego: Tuesday, March 25 – Outside the Orcutt Building, 4511 Orcutt Ave. Picketing from 10am to 3pm. Rally and action from 11am to 1pm.
- Pasadena: Wednesday, March 26 – Kaiser Southern California Headquarters, The Walnut Center, 393 East Walnut St. Picketing from 10am to 2pm. Rally and action from 11am to 1pm.
- Bakersfield: Thursday, March 26 – Bakersfield Medical Office, 4900 California Ave. Picketing from 10am to 2pm. Rally at 11:15am.
