How has being in NUHW helped you in your profession?
NUHW has played a pivotal role in strengthening our team’s ability to deliver high‑quality patient care and improve working conditions across the North Valley Emergency Departments. During the COVID surge, our patient volume increased dramatically at a time when our staffing levels were critically strained. Partnering with NUHW provided us with essential guidance throughout the grievance process and empowered us to advocate effectively for our patients and our team. As a result of this collaboration, we secured three additional full‑time positions across both locations, significantly strengthening our capacity to deliver high‑quality patient care and creating safer, more sustainable working conditions for our team.
