The Sacramento Bee recently ran a commentary about a tool designed by Healthy California Now and NUHW letting Californians calculate how much money they’d save if the state adopted a single-payer Medicare for All healthcare system.
So far 4,000 people have tried it, and 87 percent found that their family would save more than $6,000 with Medicare for All. That shouldn’t come as a surprise. Governor Newsom’s Healthy California for All Commission found that over ten years, Medicare for All could save Californians $500 billion and more than 40,000 lives.
Find out how much you’d save at Healthy California Now, the state’s leading Medicare for All advocacy coalition representing dozens of organizations including NUHW.
