Sutter Home Care and Hospice

NUHW represents hundreds of workers including nurses and nursing assistants, home health aids, care coordinators, and clerical workers employed by Sutter Home Care and Hospice.

Workers at Sutter Home Care and Hospice nurses based in Concord and San Leandro were first to join, in early 2022. They were follwed by workers at Sutter Care at Home San Francisco in April of the same year. Before the end of 2022, workers at Sutter Alameda Hospice and Sutter San Mateo Hospice had voted to join NUHW. Finally, members at Sutter Sacramento Hospice voted to join NUHW in early 2023.
